I knew it would go up.
I knew I’d make a bunch.
I knew it had to happen,
although it was a hunch.
I watched it every moment.
I watched its every move.
The ticks, the pips, the profits.
My hunch about to prove.
The chart is so exciting,
So good to me it seems.
The candlesticks are forming,
fulfilling all my dreams.
My hunches seldom profit.
They seem to let me down.
I make them with precision,
and end them with a frown.
But, this time will be different.
I’m sure of that you see.
The surge is forming quickly,
and coming home to me!
The chart is getting higher.
My hunch is proving good.
I love this kind of trading,
behaving as it should.
Here comes a short retracement.
They always happen fast!
Is should be over shortly.
I know my funds will last.
Oh No! My chart is dropping.
The lines are going down.
Candlesticks are turning dark.
My smile is now a frown.
This blasted thing is over.
I’ll scream. I’ll swear. I’ll shout.
It should have been a winner.
Instead it wiped me out!
